Database maintenance can be divided into 2 functional areas; Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance. EXCEL routinely performs both types of maintenance and offers customized services to support our customers requirements.

Corrective maintenance
is usually provided with an on-call basis and can be set-up with different service levels. Each customers environment is usually different so, service levels are completely adjustable from a 9-5/5 days a week 4 hour response time to a 24x7x365 1 hour response time.

Preventive maintenance
includes a formal plan for setting checks & balances, monitoring database processes, automating system tasks and establishing a health & welfare report. Some of the specific tasks performed are:
