Performed the duties of President and CEO until December 31, 2011.

Immediately prior to forming EXCEL Curtis was majority shareholder of Praxis, incorporated, Ohio based management consulting firm. Specializing in design, consulting, and support for governmental agencies. Curtis’ leadership and management skills has been consistent and evolving since 1972 and prior:

• Executive Director, Uhuru Substance Treatment Facility;
• President, Intercontinental , Inc., an international marketing company
• Sales Agent, Nationwide Insurance Company
• Vice President of National IT sales, Morgan Management Systems Consulting

Mr. Jewell holds bachelor’s degrees, Magana Cum laude, Social Psychology and Economics from Park College.
Numerous awards for leadership, management, and community service.

Neonu Jewell - President

Prior to joining EXCEL as President, Neonu served as the Regional Export Compliance Counsel for the Americas at Accenture. Neonu provided legal advice and supported Accenture’s compliance in the areas of global trade compliance and economic sanctions.

Neonu has extensive experience in many areas of business, including international trade law, corporate law, tax, accounting, finance, and human resources. She began her legal career as a law associate in the Washington DC office of Thompson Hine LLP, where her practice focused on international trade law. When she became an attorney, Neonu already had nearly ten years of corporate business experience, including management roles in the finance and corporate tax departments of Marriott International.

Neonu hold’s a bachelor of science in business administration and an MBA, with a finance concentration, both from Florida A&M University. She obtained her Juris Doctor at Georgetown University Law Center. She currently resides in Chicago, IL.

Curtis T. Jewell, II - EVP, Marketing & Communications

Curtis T. Jewell, II has over 12 years of technology management, creative production, and international business experience. After graduating with a BA (cum laude) from Case Western Reserve University, he worked as a Technology Consultant at Accenture in New York City for such clients as JP Morgan Chase, UBS, and other Fortune 500 companies. Soon after his departure, he earned an MBA from the University of Southern California in 2008 with a focus on Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Digital Media. Since that time, he has served as a strategic online marketing & operations consultant for Warner Bros. Studios, The Walt Disney Studios, TED.com, Teleflora, Jamie Oliver, numerous startups, and PepsiCo, where his social media project MyCypher.com was awarded the 2010 PepsiCo10 National Innovation Award.
